Where all sides (will) meet
In an event that normally doesn’t receive nearly this much attention, the Electoral College votes today, in the third phase of our Presidential election process! But because it doesn’t normally receive this much attention, it may have escaped notice that there is more to the process, to take place between now and Inauguration Day.
Prior to our last Presidential election, Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers were already cracking down on undocumented immigrants with deportation orders. In 2016, churches across the country, the most honored of American sanctuaries, re-employed the disobediently civil practice of hiding undocumented immigrants.
