Yesterday was swearing-in day for the new United States Congress, and an eventful day it was!
As the New Year rang in hour by hour across the country, states from east to west welcomed new laws for medicinal and recreational drug use, following the will of voters in November (a majority of them at least).
It’s January 1, 2021, and I do believe things are getting better. At least Johnny Nash would tell you to think so. Enjoy your day, because it’s really the only one you’ve got.
Come in. Take off your coat. Warm your feet. Have a cup of tea, and stay a while. We’re so glad you’re here.

Is there any such thing as a bad holiday greeting? We’ve never had holidays quite like these before, and I imagine next year’s will be quite different. I’m hoping there are some negative social aspects we can leave in 2020, or 2019.
If there was ever a year we needed something magical, and aligning, we all know this is the one. And that magical alignment comes tomorrow night.
