How about now?

It’s now been nearly three weeks since Election Day, and more than two weeks since the Presidential race was called for Joe Biden. Many states, including the latest count swing states with the closest races, have already certified their election results or expect to do so within the next few days. The President’s campaign has yet to succeed in any lawsuits challenging election results, due to the overwhelming lack of evidence in any claims of voter fraud, ballot tampering, illegal absentee votes, or rampant election office corruption tied to any particular locales. The election is all but officially to Joe Biden, and in any normal election year, there would be no question, but of course . . .

In the days immediately following Joe Biden’s victory speech, the buzz over Joe Biden not winning the election was palpable, especially for those of us living in red states. (This three-minute listen from NPR conveyed the mood, for anybody who didn’t feel it.) Far-right news outlet traffic surged, social media fans split, and rolling rallies took place as late as last weekend. Today, it seems to have lost steam. But it’s still fifty-nine days until Inauguration. As ever . . .
